Current Collaborators

DMM is currently collaborating with Early ACCESS, Iowa’s system of early intervention, and FIT FOCUS, New Mexico's family infant toddler program, to increase the diversity of methods used in evidence-based, family-guided, routines-based service delivery with families and children enrolled in Part C programs statewide. Service providers from a variety of disciplines (e.g., early childhood special educators, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, etc.) participate in a variety of systematic professional development activities including interactive workshops, webinars, communities or practice, and expert- and peer-mentoring with performance-based feedback in support of caregiver-implemented intervention through coaching and consultation with families.

DMM is also collaborating with the South Dakota Department of Education in their professional development cadres emphasizing family guided, routines based intervention. Cadre members work in partnership with their early intervention teams and are supported by expert coaching via Adobe Connect and performance feedback.

DMM continues to collaborate with Pennsylvania's Early Intervention Technical Assistance (EITA) program and with the Minnesota Department of Education to develop on-line learning experiences and to support coaching within all infant/toddler initiatives.
