Add to your knowledge on the What's, When's, Where's, and Why's of routines-based intervention by clicking on this interactive Getting into the Routine module.

Family Guided Routines Based Intervention (FGRBI) is an early intervention approach in which caregivers embed opportunities for teaching and learning in their everyday routines and activities with thier child. This FGRBI Overview Module provides a brief overview of this approach.

Writing outcomes that support embedded intervention promotes the child's participation throughout the day in meaningful routines and activities. It also necessitates re-thinking how early intervention outcomes are written for the IFSP. This introductory module on writing outcomes provides the background and some steps for beginning the process. To learn more about writing outcomes, please watch the Outcomes Module and reference the Outcomes Handout.
